Evidence of Learning Document–Make a copy and add it to your ENG3C folder. Share your copy of the document with me via the Assignment Submission page. Begin to work on completing the document at home or in homeroom. You will have classtime to work on it from June 4 – 8 (when it is due). If you plan on being away that week or if you need to complete many items, then working on the document ahead of time will be necessary. The evidence of learning document represents 70% of the course mark.

Tuesday:

  1. Reading: As always we will begin with reading, tracking our reading, and noticing and noting something about what we have read. 
  2.  #CDNcraft Focus–  Permission Form and Letter and Sign into D2L.

3. Global Perspectives: I will be introducing the wiki–Global Perspectives: A textbook for teens by teens. We will make a note about audience, purpose, conventions of the wiki (or web) page, and design elements. Finally, you will go on a wiki page scavenger hunt.

Thursday: 

  1. Reading: As always we will begin with reading, tracking our reading, and noticing and noting something about what we have read. 20mins
  2. Finish the Scavenger Hunt and share it with me via the Assignment Submissions Page.
  3. Make your handshake.
  4. Post it to #CDNcraft course in D2L; if you are not yet into the D2L course, send the link to your handshake to me via the Assignment Submissions Page.

Friday: 

  1. Reading: As always we will begin with reading, tracking our reading, and noticing and noting something about what we have read. 20mins
  2. Review What’s your Canada? 
  3. Review the student made What’s your Canada? from last semester.
  4. Write your own “What’s your Canada?” in your notebook.
  5. Create it and share the link with me via the Assignment Submissions Page.
