Learning Goals

I am learning to

apply my understanding of words to help me make meaning of a text;
apply reading strategies to determine if a source is valuable;
prepare a set of research notes;
use some internet search strategies.

Today, you will practice using the course vocabulary in Quizlet.

Go to Quizlet and sign-up via your Google account.

Search for our class: Balen’s ENG3C4C

Using the LEARN tool, quiz yourself on 30 questions. When you are done, screenshot your score and add it to Sesame.

Taking stock. Where are you in this workflow? What tools are you using to help you as a researcher?

You will be determining your mid-term mark this week. Let’s get going!!
