RESEARCH

These are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Complete the first three columns of your inquiry planner; 
  2. Look for patterns or big ideas; 
  3. Decide on your topic;
  4. Write your purpose question;
  5. Find an article that suits your purpose question;
  6. Read and annotate the article. Use this checklist to help you.
  7. Make a research note. Use this checklist to help you.

Due by Friday: Inquiry Planner, Annotated article, Research note.

And add your weekly reflection to Sesame.

Today, we will read and track our reading.

Next, we will look at the RWB [Royal Winnipeg Ballet] Going Home Star: The language of truth and reconciliation performance. You will create a purpose question (PQ) for the article, you will read the article and annotate it for evidence that answers the PQ. Lastly, you will answer the PQ.

Students with devices: Group 1

  1. Check the tracking sheet. Leave a comment for items you have completed.
  2. Add a thank you to the padlet.
  3.  Finish your handshake (and post on D2L). See me for login information.If your have your permission form signed!
  4. Add a snap to for each of your 4 goals for the semester.
  5. Wiki editing. Submit your Editing Sheet to the class bin.

Students not on devices:

  1. Complete the RWB article work.
  2. Finish your research note from the first TRC article
  3. Finish Writing prompt #1
  4. Finish Reading log #1
