BOOK REVIEW!!

9:00 – 9:45 Write a rough draft of your independent novel. See today’s handout.

9:45 – 10:40 Work on those items that need completing.

  1. Check the tracking sheet. Leave a comment for items you have completed.
  2. Add a thank you to the padlet.
  3.  Finish your handshake (and post on D2L). If you haven’t given me a signed permission form, then you can’t yet post your handshake.
  4. Add a snap to Sesame for each of your 4 goals for the semester: Mark, Learning, Growth mindset, Learning skill.
  5. Add week #1 (Feb. 22-26) reflection to Sesame: What did I learn?
  6. Finish inquiry planner and decide on a topic for your personal investigation.
  7. Finish Hypothes.is annotation and article note (handout) on Article #2
  8. Complete the RWB article work: annotating for a purpose question
  9. Word process your book review in a Google document: Formatting rules
    1. Double space
    2. 11 point font
    3. Times New Roman or Arial

    Revising and Editing

    1. Use your Personal Proofreading Checklist to guide you in editing your writing.
    2. Re-read your writing for spelling and capitalization errors.

    Save your work. Friday we will finish formatting and do a Peer Edit.
